Optical fiber panel

Fiber optical plate (FOP) is prepared by heating and hot-melting tens millions of optical fibers with 4～6μm diameter lined in sequence. The optical fiber is prepared by drawing cladding glass with low refractive and core glass with high refractive at high temperature. According to the principle of total reflection, the light is transported in the inner of the optical fiber, conveying the image from the input side to the output side with high-fidelity based on the performances of large numerical aperture, high light-gathering capacity and high resolution. It can be used as the input or out optical windows for many applied fields, such as image coupling, image enhancement, field curvature correction, fingerprint recognition, touch-tone display. FOP can be processed into circular, square, concave spherical, step and other different shapes and sizes, plays an important roles in Low light level night vision, ultraviolet alarm, X-ray imaging, medical diagnosis and treatment.
